Dennis graduated from CS-08 as a member of the Class of 1989 and served 26 years on active duty as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer. Dennis held a number of key positions in the Air Force including Congressional Liaison and commander of both stateside and deployed units in support of global airlift and Southwest Asia combat operations. His final assignment was Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Maintenance Policy and Programs before retiring in 2016 and joining the Northrop Grumman Corporation as a Director of Programs. Dennis earned a Bachelor of Science degree from USAFA, a Master of Science degree in Management from Troy University and a Master of Arts degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the College of Naval Warfare. Dennis serves as an Admissions Liaison Officer for the North Texas Region, advisor to the USAFA Way of Life Alumni Group, and is a former National President of the Logistics Officer Association. Dennis and his wife, Teresa, live in Ft. Worth with their son, Derrick, and daughter, Maya.
