
Ray is a lifetime AOG member and 1981 graduate. He is a retired colonel, following 26 years of active duty service. Ray served as a flying squadron commander, operations group commander and the 15th airlift wing commander. His flying tours included T-37 flight instructor/examiner, the C-5, KC-10, C-37 and C-40. His staff tours included HQ USAF, the Pentagon and U.S. Transportation Command. He completed in residence professional military education at each level, holds two master's degrees and completed a fellowship at Syracuse University in national security policy. Ray currently serves as the vice president of operations for an aviation company.
Candidacy Statement
I am seeking to join the AOG Board of Directors. My contribution comes from successful experiences as a retired colonel, as well as a wing, group and squadron commander. I have also worked in the private sector, currently serving as the vice president of operations for an aviation company. During my AF tenure, I flew numerous aircraft, deployed as a commander two times and completed two staff tours, including HQ USAF, the Pentagon and U.S. Transportation Command. Completed in residence professional military education at each level, hold two masters degrees and completed a fellowship at Syracuse University in national security policy.
