  • A few highlights:

    -  Ken Velten is putting together the golf tournament for Friday, 23 Sep.

    - Carlos Honesty is working on some outstanding merchandise.

-The AF vs Nevada football game is Saturday, 24 Sep. We’ll all need to stay flexible regarding kick off time as we may not have that information until ~7 to 12 days out.

    -  Sueling Cho is putting together our Memorial Service and our classmate, Father Brian Christiansen will preside over the ceremony.  We are one of only a few classes that try to include widows in our reunions, Patti (Michalcik) Stuart is coordinating with Sq Reps to invite the spouses of our “Gone but not Forgotten” classmates.  We understand that some widows may not want to attend, but would still like to extend an invitation, where appropriate.  Patti recently sent a note to the Sq Reps to lay out her role with the widows as our single point of contact.

    -   Gretchen (Krueger) Cook and her team are working with Sq. Reps to ensure we have current contact information for as many classmates as possible. She is also posting reunion updates on our Class FB page as needed. We encourage all of you to get this information out to classmates that may not be on social media or may not have updated information in the AOG database.

    - Ross McNutt, is putting together a Graduate Business Breakfast for the three classes that are in town for their reunions (’67, ’87, ’97).  This will be an informal gathering to allow business discussions among graduates and will happen Friday, 23 Sep; prior to the USAFA Open House.  Details to follow.

Reunions are successful because folks attend & participate.  Don’t be afraid to give your opinion or join the reunion committee – fresh view points are always welcome.
Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available and looking forward to seeing many of you at our reunion!
