THE FRONT RANGEThe Front Range is a major part of the Academyenvironment. As a symbol of endurance and lastingstrength, the mountains also serve as a reminder ofColorado's amazing beauty and the outdoor recreationand relaxation it offered.

THE AMERICAN FLAGSignifies service and love to our country.

THE CADET CHAPELA major tourist attraction and architectural landmark, represents to the cadet both comfort andrefuge as well as spiritual, moral, and ethical growth.

THE PROP AND WINGSWorn on the cadet flight cap, signifies the military growth of cadets and the transition to upperclassstatus. It also represents a linkage with the past, as it was the insignia of the Army AirCorps, which preceded today's US Air Force.

THE AIRCRAFTAn F-4, an F-15, and an F-22 remind us of the past, present, and future dominance of our Air Force the sum of the aircrafts' numeric designations totals 41, the number of the graduating class.
